My name is Casey. I’ve been training in various forms of dance since age 2. My professional career began with Texas Ballet Theater in 2006. After 3 beautiful years with the company, I moved to San Francisco to continue training as part of the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program. Upon completing the program I began freelancing with various local companies, such as Oakland Ballet Company and Copious Dance Theater, and also became a Certified GYROTONIC® Instructor.
Ready for something different, I auditioned to dance for a cruise line. As luck would have it, I was offered a position! I completed my first contract on the Voyager of the Seas with stops in South Korea, Japan, Fiji, and New Zealand, among other countries. My second contract took me around the Mediterranean, up to Iceland, and briefly to the Caribbean on the Adventure of the Seas. Next, I returned to the Caribbean on the Independence of the Seas. After being sidelined due to an injury, I returned to the Adventure for another Caribbean contract based out of San Juan. Next, I performed on the Explorer of the Seas, traveling around the South Pacific before relocating to Alaska. My final contract was on the Navigator of the Seas, doing primarily Mediterranean and Baltic routes!
I’m now based on land, but continue traveling. I look forward to sharing more exciting experiences with you!

Thank you! I’ll be posting more about Alaska soon.
Great, look forward to it. My husband wants to visit Alaska but I am hesitant as I am not good on the ship. I always get seasick eventhough I take a motion pill.
You feel less movement on larger ships! It’s definitely worth a visit, whatever way you choose to go!
Yes, I tried a large ships several times. We sail from Copenhagen to Norway, and Bergen and also we took 5 days sailing in Galapagos, In Vietnam, but unfortunately I am just not good and ended up had motion sickness. ugh.. not good.
